The first ever electric violin with an inbuilt convolution engine, bundled with impulse responses of fine old and new violins. In collaboration with Signal Wizard Systems, Johannsson Violins has created an instrument with superb sound quality, only found in the most valuable violins. The first successful trials of the system were the dCello, played by Hildur Gudnadottir.
The immediate goal is to make a string quartet and organise a concert in Berlin and Reykjavik and then proceed with production. Signal Wizard Systems are also working on the next version of vSound, which is a stomp box type outboard unit.
